Terms and conditions
1. Acceptance
1.1. These TERMS AND CONDITIONS are the terms on ASL Pest Control, trading as ASL Pest Control (ASL Pest Control), will pest control and other
similar services to you. By accepting a quotation, or otherwise engaging ASL Pest Control to provide the Services, you agree that
you are bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
2.1. Business Days – means a day other than Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday in New South Wales.
2.2. Commencement Date – means the date on which ASL Pest Control will start the provision of the Services, as stated in the Quotation.
2.3. Loss – means any loss, liability, cost, expense, damage, charge, penalty, outgoing or payment.
2.4. Price – means the price stated on the Quotation and as may be varied in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
2.5. Quotation – means an offer by ASL Pest Control to you for the provision of the Services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
2.6. Service – means the services supplied by ASL Pest Control to you and are as described on the attached Quotation.
3. Fees and payment
3.1. The fees as set out in this agreement are payable by the customer to the ASL Pest Control technician for the Service. Fees are exclusive of GST.
3.2. The pest control technician will provide an electronic invoice on the date of Service and you must pay the Price stipulated on the invoice (less any
deposit or amount paid) to ASL Pest Control on the date of the Service.
4. Variations and Cancellations
4.1. ASL Pest Control reserves the right to change the Price:
(a) if a variation to the Services originally scheduled is requested;
(b) where additional Services are required due to the discovery of hidden or unidentifiable difficulties;
4.2. If you cancel a Quotation less than 48 hours prior to the Commencement Date, ASL Pest Control will charge you 10% of the Price for such
cancellation.
5. Treatment effectiveness
5.1. ASL Pest Control is responsible for providing and delivering a professional service to the customer.
5.2. The ongoing effectiveness of the pest control service provided depends on the customer implementing ASL Pest Control’s advice regarding hygiene,
housekeeping and property maintenance procedures.
5.3. The customer acknowledges that treatment can be ineffective by impacting treated areas such as renovation etc.
6. Warranty condition
6.1. ASL Pest Control provides 6 months warranty except for any fly and mosquito service and subject to the customer following the technician’s
recommendations and advice.
6.2. ASL Pest Control is responsible to provide a free service during warranty time if the customer follows the pest control technician guidelines.
6.3. The warranty is not applicable if the customer does not comply with pest control technician advice relating to matters such as hygiene,
housekeeping and property maintenance.
7. Advice and recommendation
7.1. The ASL Pest Control technician will provide a service report after the Service and provide advice and recommendations to the customer to
control and minimise pests.
7.2. These recommendations and advice include hygiene, housekeeping, and property maintenance.
8. Access and safety
8.1. The customer is responsible for ensuring the ASL Pest Control technician has full and safe access (free of any health and safety hazards and risks)
to those areas of the premises required to provide the service.
8.2. The customer is responsible for advising the technician of any health and safety risks, including the presence of asbestos.
8.3. The ASL Pest Control technician must follow all necessary safety guidelines while present at the customer’s premises.
9. Customer collaboration and warranty condition
9.1. The customer must follow all recommendations and instructions provided by the ASL Pest Control technician including all health and safety of
persons using the premises during and following the completion of service.
9.2. The ASL Pest Control does not accept any responsibility or warranty for any damage or losses that might occur because of past, current and
future pest activities
10. Customer information
10.1. ASL Pest Control is responsible for ensuring all customer personal information including names, residential address, contact number and email
address remain confidential and are not shared with external parties.
11. Customer Health
11.1. The customer must advise ASL Pest Control if any person has a medical condition, allergies or any other concerns.
11.2. The customer or any other person who has an allergy must stay out of the premises during while the ASL Pest Control technician performs the
service for at least 24 hours after service and until fully ventilated.
11.3. The customer is responsible to remove any person, animals, birds or fish during pest control service or as advised by ASL Pest Control technician.
11.4. The customer is responsible to avoid contact with treated surfaces until fully dried as advised by ASL Pest Control l technician.
11.5. The customer is responsible to provide full ventilation through premises after service as advised by ASL Pest Control technician.
12. Disclaimer
12.1. You acknowledge and agree that ASL Pest Control is not liable for any Loss or damage, including consequential loss, however caused (including
by the negligence of the ASL Pest Control) suffered by you in connection with the Services provided by ASL Pest Control.
12.2. You acknowledge and agree that ASL Pest Control is not responsible for any Loss incurred by you as a result of your failure to comply with the
requirements set out in clauses 7,8 and 11.
12.3. These Terms and Conditions and the accepted Quotation constitute the entire agreement between you and ASL Pest Control in respect of the
provision of the Services and supersede all previous communications, representations, understandings or agreements.
